Wall Art-Part 2

This is a skateboarding play area on the Southbank. It is very impressive when you are there as it is much bigger than this photo shows. There is a lot of showing off from the boys and a lot of spectators starring in awe. Not so much commotion in this photo though, I had to try quite a few times in order to get a shot without someone in it. I like the graffiti.

A Beautiful Summer Day

This heron was enjoying the sun on Saturday in Regent's Park, the most beautiful day I have experienced in London yet. I also can't believe that I was able to get so close to this heron, they would never let you get so close in Canada.

Cuddly or Crazy?

These asian looking little Fendi bears look like they are about to march through the window of Harrods and attack the snooty ladies on the street.
"You must wear Fendi or we will turn you into cousin Gummy!"

Wall Art

This is a Primary School in Highbury. I especially love the kids dancing down the wall.

The entrance way of a small motor bike repair shop near King's Cross. The words are even in alphabetical order.

How you know spring has arrived.

It is a happy day when the ice cream truck makes it's first appearance. The problem is that Tina's ices has made it's home right across the street from my flat. I will surely put on some summer weight as the 99 flake's lure me in this year.

Vintage Wonderfulness

There is a secret mews near Camden Passage at Angel were little old ladies sell their millions upon millions of brooches, silver spoons and other knickknacks. These are fun to rifle through but there is just so much that you kind of get blinded by the glitz.
Today I found something truly wonderful, vintage Pan Am suitcases. With the luxury travel trend re-emerging these
suitcases are perfect for a my next Eurostar break to Paris.

Smile! You're on camera!

As I went to grab my lunch yesterday, I noticed a gathering of people taking photos of what has always been a plain concrete wall of the post office. When I turned around, I saw that Bansky had left his mark the night before.
Britain is officially the most watched country in the world and if you live in London, the chances are you are caught on CCTV about 300 times a day.
Now, I'm wondering if Bansky was worried about the cctv camera spying on him in the corner and why we have never seen his face with so many cameras in the city?

The British Dream?

This pretty white house with the white window frame and the white bicycle was taken outside of South Kensington station. It's not a white picket fence but I think it is much sweeter.
I wonder if they own that bicycle or if some stranger happened to chain it up to the fence without noticing that it was a perfect match?
