Art in a Square
On my way to work one morning, I pass by Bedford Square to find something being constructed on one of the corners of the square. There is already a large art structure on the other corner so I thought they would never build another one opposite it.
But, as I pass each morning, I watch it grow, expand and change shape. I finally pass by one morning to see this...
I was so excited to see this artwork finally finished and it was very exciting to see its evolution.
This art structure now competes with the equally cool structure on the other corner of Bedford square.

The best of the best
The Skin and Bones Exhibit at Sommerset House is absolutely amazing. It is an exhibit that parallels fashion and architecture. All my favourite fashion designers are showcased under one roof: Hussein Chalayan, Viktor and Rolf, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood just to name a few. Go see it while you still have the chance: http://www.somersethouse.org.uk/Sunday, 22 June 2008

Vintage Wonderfulness
There is a secret mews near Camden Passage at Angel were little old ladies sell their millions upon millions of brooches, silver spoons and other knickknacks. These are fun to rifle through but there is just so much that you kind of get blinded by the glitz.
Today I found something truly wonderful, vintage Pan Am suitcases. With the luxury travel trend re-emerging these suitcases are perfect for a my next Eurostar break to Paris.

Smile! You're on camera!
As I went to grab my lunch yesterday, I noticed a gathering of people taking photos of what has always been a plain concrete wall of the post office. When I turned around, I saw that Bansky had left his mark the night before.
Britain is officially the most watched country in the world and if you live in London, the chances are you are caught on CCTV about 300 times a day.
Now, I'm wondering if Bansky was worried about the cctv camera spying on him in the corner and why we have never seen his face with so many cameras in the city?

The British Dream?
I wonder if they own that bicycle or if some stranger happened to chain it up to the fence without noticing that it was a perfect match?

I want to take photos of things I see with my nothing special digital camera that is always in my bag . I am hoping to see some interesting people, interesting fashion, interesting buildings and signs and nature and well anything interesting really.
Enjoy.
